What is PostTag?

PostTag is the app for drivers, not just for delivery businesses. If you drive for a living, or you just drive a lot, PostTag helps in two ways: it saves you money on fuel, and it gets you to the right address, first time. What you can do in the app

Save money on diesel. Apply for the PostTag Fuel Card, currently open to sole traders and registered businesses, and get a discount at the pump.

How the PostTag Fuel Card works

The PostTag Fuel Card is currently available to sole traders and registered businesses. It's not open to personal applications from individual drivers at this time. The PostTag Fuel Card is a diesel fuel card, provided in partnership with Radius. PostTag buys diesel wholesale every Thursday for the week ahead, and that price is published every Friday, so you know what you're paying before the week even starts. There's no card fee and nothing to pay upfront. In the first 12 weeks after launch, that worked out at an average of around 14.7p a litre less than the pump price. The price isn't always lower, and we show you that Fuel stations sell diesel they've already bought, so their prices tend to move more slowly than the wholesale market PostTag buys from. That means a nearby station can sometimes be cheaper than your card, especially just after wholesale prices have fallen. The app shows you exactly where you stand before you fuel up, with a simple colour indicator: teal means your card price is lower, amber means it's about the same, and red means the pump is currently cheaper. There's no minimum spend, so if a station's cheaper, just use that instead. It costs you nothing to switch. You can also turn on notifications to hear about price changes before they happen, so you can plan ahead. How to use PostTag offline

Ever out on deliveries, lost signal, and couldn't map your journey? No problem. With a bit of prep, PostTag keeps you on track even when you're offline. Here's how to plan ahead and navigate, wherever your route takes you. Step 1: download your offline maps Before heading out, make sure your navigation app is ready to run without mobile data. Scroll until you see the option to download an offline map.
